Location: Ashdod, Israel


A reputable architecture firm in Ashdod is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in historic preservation and be proficient in architectural conservation techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for the restoration and maintenance of historic sites
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure projects meet historic preservation standards
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Oversee construction work and make sure it adheres to preservation guidelines
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timeline to ensure successful completion
- Stay up-to-date on current preservation trends, laws, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software
- Knowledgeable about building materials and construction techniques used in different time periods
- Familiar with local and national preservation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Organized with strong project management skills

Salary:
Salary for this position is competitive (starting at $1000 depending on experience) with opportunities for growth within the company.
