Preservation Architect


We are currently hiring for a Preservation Architect to join our team in Ashdod. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month and includes accommodation. This role is suitable for men who have a passion for preserving historical buildings and structures.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, researching historical buildings, and developing preservation plans. You will work closely with clients and contractors to ensure that preservation projects are carried out effectively and efficiently. Additionally, you will be involved in the restoration process, overseeing construction work and ensuring that it adheres to preservation standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historical preservation
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of historical buildings and structures
- Research the history and significance of each building
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Oversee restoration work to ensure it aligns with preservation standards
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate progress and identify any issues or concerns
- Prepare reports on the status of projects and present them to clients or relevant parties

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field with at least 3 years of experience in historical preservation. In addition, they should have a strong understanding of architectural history and styles. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.

Location:
This role will be based in Ashdod but may require occasional travel to different locations within the country.
