Architecture Manager
As an Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of buildings, structures, and other architectural projects in the city of Ashdod. Your role will involve working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet regulatory standards and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of architects and engineers in the design and construction process
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for projects
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress
- Manage the bidding process for contractors and review their proposals
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Coordinate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for construction projects
- Ensure that all projects adhere to environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture or a similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
Salary: $1700 per month
Location: Ashdod, Israel
