Junior Accountant

We are a fast-paced accounting firm in Ashdod and we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This is an urgent job, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately. This role does not require prior experience, but the candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be willing to learn on the job. The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices and payments
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support senior accountants with various tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills (in English or Hebrew)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is a plus
