Cashier for Busy Retail Store in Ashdod, Israel


We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Ashdod, Israel. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and check transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Ensure correct pricing and display of products
- Keep checkout area clean and organized
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner

Requirements:
- Must have a valid biometric passport or Israeli citizenship
- Must be able to work full time, including weekends and holidays
- No previous experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Must be comfortable using electronic cash registers and other point-of-sale systems
- Able to communicate effectively in Hebrew; knowledge of English is an asset
- Friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
