Head Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Ashdod. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality and presentation standards are met
- Manage inventory levels and maintain stock of necessary ingredients and supplies
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with health codes
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Work closely with management to develop new dishes and menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Thorough knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary: $1800 per month depending on experience
