Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Herzliya, Israel. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure the best user experience and functionality for our apps.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven working experience in Android app development (at least 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
