Entry-Level Database Administrator

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for data management? We are seeking an Entry-Level Database Administrator to join our growing team in Herzliya. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Create and maintain user accounts and access permissions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with other teams to design, implement, and maintain new databases
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS)
- Familiarity with SQL programming language
- Ability to analyze complex data structures and troubleshoot database issues
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience working with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of data security best practices
