Freelance Interpreter



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance interpreter to join our team in Herzliya. As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services for clients in various settings. This is a great opportunity for someone who is fluent in multiple languages and has a passion for facilitating communication between people from different cultures.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of the original message
- Follow ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines
- Research terminology and prepare for assignments in advance
- Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity at all times
- Keep detailed records of assignments and time worked
- Communicate with clients to clarify any misunderstandings or issues

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (Hebrew preferred)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or related role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs
- Proficiency with technology (e.g. video conferencing, translation tools)
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Salary:
This is a freelance position with a competitive pay rate of $1000 per month. You will be compensated based on the number of assignments completed.

Location:
This position is located in Herzliya, but may require travel to different locations within the city or surrounding areas.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. You are expected to arrange your own accommodations if necessary.
