Formworker

A construction company in Herzliya is seeking a skilled and experienced Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating temporary or permanent molds used to shape concrete into structures such as walls, columns, beams, and foundations.

Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
- Measuring and marking cutting lines on materials.
- Constructing formwork using plywood, steel, aluminum or other materials.
- Assembling and dismantling formwork according to specifications.
- Installing reinforcing bars or mesh in formwork.
- Pouring and spreading concrete into formwork.
- Smoothing and leveling concrete surface using hand tools or power tools.
- Finishing surfaces by removing excess concrete or adding texture.
- Removing formwork after the concrete has set.
- Inspecting completed structures for defects.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Formworker in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems and their applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Familiarity with various types of construction equipment such as saws, drills, and power tools.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
