Turner - Metal Lathe Operator

We are currently hiring a skilled Turner to operate metal lathes in our manufacturing facility located in Herzliya. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of lathes to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust metal lathes to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Select and load raw materials onto the lathe for processing
- Operate lathes to cut, shape, and smooth metal pieces according to specifications
- Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as needed for accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Maintain machines by cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or Metal Lathe Operator (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling selection for different materials
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination

Preferred:
- Trade school certification or apprenticeship in machining or related field
- Experience with CNC machines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
