Junior Preservation Architect
As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the preservation of historical buildings and structures in Herzliya. Your main role will be to work with a team of experienced professionals to develop and implement plans to protect and preserve these structures for future generations. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior architects in conducting site assessments and surveys of historical buildings
- Research historical background and significance of structures to inform preservation plans
- Work with team to develop architectural designs and plans for preservation projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Monitor progress of preservation projects and provide updates to senior architects
- Conduct periodic inspections of preserved structures to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of architectural design principles and techniques
- Familiarity with historical preservation practices and regulations
- Strong research skills and ability to gather information from various sources
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred:
- Previous internship or work experience in architecture or historical preservation field
- Familiarity with local regulations and laws regarding historic preservation in Herzliya
