Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant

We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our high-end fine dining restaurant located in Herzliya, Israel. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a creative and high-quality menu, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food meets our standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create a unique menu that reflects the restaurant's concept and meets customer demand
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high levels of quality and efficiency in food production
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Source high-quality ingredients from local vendors while maintaining cost efficiency
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Expert knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes and menus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with management, staff, and customers
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Valid food handling certification
- Knowledge of food cost control principles
- Proficiency in Hebrew (preferred)

Salary: $1300 USD per month (depending on experience)

Location: Herzliya, Israel
