Head Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Herzliya, Israel


We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Herzliya, Israel. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, developing new menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop creative and innovative menus that meet the needs of our diverse clientele
- Maintain high quality standards for all food served and ensure that proper food safety protocols are followed
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals to guests
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to food quality or service promptly and professionally

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for creating new dishes while still maintaining classic menu items
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in Hebrew (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at 1200$ per month, based on experience and qualifications.

Location:
Our restaurant is located in the beautiful city of Herzliya, known for its stunning beaches and vibrant food scene. The ideal candidate should be willing to relocate to Herzliya or have easy access to transportation to and from the city.
