Preservation Architect



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historic buildings and structures by providing expert advice on restoration, conservation, and renovation projects. This is a full-time position without accommodation, suitable for men with a biometric passport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on historic buildings and structures to determine their architectural significance and preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration, conservation, and renovation projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines for preservation projects
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects on-site to ensure adherence to plans and budget
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the condition of historic structures and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and materials used in preservation work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect working on historic buildings or structures
- Excellent knowledge of architectural history, styles, materials, and construction techniques used in different time periods
- Strong understanding of local preservation laws and regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Clairvaux. However, some travel may be required for site visits.
