Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas of our restaurant. Your main duties will include washing dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment, as well as keeping the kitchen and dishwashing area clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using manual or mechanical methods
- Ensure that all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized before being returned to the kitchen
- Keep dishwashing area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Empty trash bins regularly and maintain cleanliness of trash disposal area
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the kitchen manager or lead dishwasher
- Assist with restocking supplies in the kitchen as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good physical stamina as this role involves standing for long periods of time and handling heavy items
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Team player with good communication skills
