Fitter - Wiltz


A reputable construction company in Wiltz is seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of various mechanical systems including pipes, valves, pumps, and other equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair mechanical systems according to specifications
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine appropriate materials and methods for installation
- Use hand tools, power tools and welding equipment to complete tasks
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot issues with equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols
- Communicate with project managers and other team members on progress and any potential problems that may arise

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fitter in a construction or industrial setting
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, etc.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (French or German is an asset)
- Valid work visa (preferably EU citizenship or valid work permit)
