Restaurant Manager
We are currently hiring a qualified and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our busy restaurant in Nairobi. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, managing and training staff, and maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, budgeting, and customer service
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service is provided at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
- Create work schedules for employees to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Proven track record of managing a successful restaurant operation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, and cost control techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. This position is open to freshers with relevant education or experience.
