We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our network infrastructure, as well as managing and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration and possess excellent problem-solving skills. This is a contract job with an urgent need for immediate hire.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance
- Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and security settings
- Ensure data backup processes are functioning properly and perform regular backups
- Implement security measures to protect company data from unauthorized access or cyber attacks
- Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide timely resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies in network administration to provide recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration, routing protocols (e.g. BGP), firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with backup systems (e.g. Veeam) and disaster recovery processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Salary:
This is a contract job paying a salary of 1200$ per month.
