Sous Chef
Are you a skilled and passionate chef looking for an exciting opportunity in the culinary world? Our restaurant in Muharraq is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, create and develop new menu items, and ensure high-quality food standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new dishes and maintain consistency in existing menu items
- Oversee preparation of all dishes according to set recipes and presentation standards
- Monitor portioning and waste control to maintain food costs within budget
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Creativity and passion for creating new dishes
- Ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks accordingly
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with opportunities for growth within our company.
