Biometric Passport Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Biometric Passport Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing biometric passport systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge and experience with biometric technology, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure biometric passport systems according to specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on existing systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Keep accurate records of system installations, maintenance, and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of biometric passport systems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Experience working with biometric technology required
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
