Interpreter (English-French)


We are seeking a highly skilled Interpreter to join our team in Clairvaux. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services between English and French. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month, with accommodation provided and a free visa and ticket.

Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and French
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with cultural differences and ability to adapt accordingly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain neutral
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific terminology
- Proficiency in using translation equipment and software
- Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services between English and French for meetings, conferences, interviews, etc.
- Translate written documents as needed
- Maintain professionalism at all times, adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality agreements
- Research industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Utilize translation equipment and software effectively during interpretation sessions
- Collaborate with other interpreters or team members as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience as an interpreter is not required but considered a plus
- Willingness to learn new subjects or industries as needed
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
