Contract Interpreter in Clairvaux



We are currently seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team in Clairvaux on a contract basis. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between clients and individuals who do not share a common language.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing
- Interpret accurately and impartially, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards and ethics
- Act as a cultural bridge between clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Possess knowledge of specialized terminology related to the industry or subject matter being interpreted
- Maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations
- Keep accurate records of interpreted conversations and provide reports as needed
- Attend trainings to improve interpreting skills and stay updated on industry trends

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain neutral and non-judgmental while interpreting
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Good understanding of the subject matter being interpreted
- Proven experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this contract position.

This job is located in Clairvaux, which is known for its beautiful landscapes, rich history, and welcoming community. While preference will be given to local candidates, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who are able to obtain their own work visa.
