Crane Operator
Location: Nairobi, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift and move heavy objects on construction sites, ports, or other industrial locations. You must have prior experience in crane operation and be able to work flexible hours as this is a part-time position. Accommodation will not be provided, so preference will be given to candidates who reside in or near Nairobi.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate cranes according to specified requirements and instructions
- Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in good working condition
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with ground crew during lifts
- Move levers, pedals, and switches to operate lifting equipment
- Monitor crane operation and make adjustments as needed
- Report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Prior experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physically fit with the ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Familiarity with hand signals for crane operation
- Valid crane operator certification
- Flexible availability for part-time schedule
- Residency in or near Nairobi preferred

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1700 per month.
