Livestock Specialist - Abu Dhabi



Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and caring for the livestock on our farm, ensuring their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily care and management of livestock including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health
- Develop and implement herd management plans to ensure optimal production and health of the animals
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, breeding, and production data
- Identify any potential issues or concerns with the animals and take appropriate action to prevent or treat them
- Manage the breeding program to ensure successful reproduction and genetic improvement of the herd
- Train and supervise farm workers in proper handling and care of livestock
- Work with veterinarians as needed for health checks, vaccinations, and treatment plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with livestock on a farm or ranch
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform all aspects of livestock care including lifting heavy objects if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of $1300 per month, along with other benefits.

This position is located in Abu Dhabi.
