Job Title: Office Assistant in Salalah, Oman
We are a busy office in Salalah, Oman looking for a reliable and efficient Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support our daily operations. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$, along with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing mail to appropriate departments
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members
- Create and maintain filing systems for important documents and records
- Perform data entry tasks to input information into databases or spreadsheets
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management or related field is a plus
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required
- Prior experience working in an office setting
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
