Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators, to complete various construction and excavation projects. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and within the specified timeframe. Your primary duties will include operating the excavator to dig trenches, load material, and move earth, as well as performing routine maintenance on the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavator according to project requirements and safety standards
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and maps
- Communicate with project manager and team members to coordinate tasks
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Safely load and unload materials using the excavator
- Dig trenches, grade land, and move earth as needed for various projects
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators
- Valid operator's license for excavators in Al Buraymi or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Proven ability to read project plans, blueprints, and maps accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Physically fit with the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Knowledge of proper maintenance procedures for heavy machinery
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Al Buraymi, Oman with accommodation provided.
