CAD Draftsman
Location: Nairobi, Kenya


A CAD Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They work closely with engineers and architects to produce accurate and precise drawings that are used in the construction of buildings, machinery, or other structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use CAD software to create technical drawings based on specifications provided by engineers or architects.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, following industry standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to review and revise designs as needed.
- Communicate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in CAD technology, and changes in building codes or regulations.
- Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or similar role.
- Proficient in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD) and familiar with industry-specific tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and project managers.

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience working on construction projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (such as SketchUp) is a plus.

Salary: $1500 per month (with accommodation included)
Working Hours: The standard working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. However, flexibility may be required depending on project deadlines.
