Executive Chef in Nizwa, Oman


As the Executive Chef in our restaurant located in Nizwa, Oman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our guests. We are seeking a talented and experienced chef who is passionate about creating delicious and visually appealing dishes that showcase local Omani cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect the rich flavors and traditions of Omani cuisine while also incorporating modern techniques and presentation styles
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to maintain a high level of food quality and consistency
- Source fresh, seasonal ingredients from local suppliers to ensure the highest quality dishes are served to our guests
- Oversee inventory management and ordering to ensure adequate supplies while minimizing waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create special menus for events or promotions
- Continuously develop new dishes and update existing ones based on feedback from customers or trends in the culinary world

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Omani cuisine, traditional cooking techniques, and local ingredients is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
