Executive Chef
We are in search of an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Nizwa. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus and recipes, taking into consideration local tastes and preferences
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
- Ensure high quality of all dishes served by conducting regular taste tests
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to come up with new dishes and specials
- Manage budgeting, costing, and pricing of menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Omani cuisine is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with benefits such as accommodation, transportation, health insurance, and annual leave.
