Construction Manager



As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in Nairobi. Your main role will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timelines are met
- Manage and oversee construction teams including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications
- Communicate with stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities
- Prepare progress reports for senior management
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments to stay within budget

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations in Nairobi
- Proficient in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable)
Location: Nairobi with accommodation provided
Nationality: Kenyan (preferred)
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel within Nairobi may be required
