Seasonal Executive Chef
As a Seasonal Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the culinary operations of our upscale restaurant in Al Buraymi. Your main duties will include creating and executing menus, managing kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients
- Manage kitchen staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and purchasing
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to create menus that cater to a variety of dietary needs/preferences
Salary: 1500$ per month (tax-free)
