We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our company's databases. Your main goal will be to ensure that our databases run smoothly and efficiently, allowing for seamless business operations.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Create backup and recovery strategies
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Develop and implement data migration strategies
- Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize database usage
- Provide technical support to end users when needed
- Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with data backup, recovery and security protocols
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. SQL)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based databases
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Understanding of data privacy regulations
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1700/month (with possibility for growth based on performance)

Location: Wiltz, Luxembourg (accommodation provided if needed)
