Typesetter for Contract Position in Vilnius, Lithuania



We are in search of a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital media projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in typesetting and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Setting and arranging text and images according to design specifications
- Ensuring consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing
- Proofreading content to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborating with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
- Adhering to project timelines and deadlines
- Making necessary revisions based on feedback from team members or clients

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in design elements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Time-management skills to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Knowledge of typography principles and best practices
- Familiarity with different file formats and printing processes

This is a contract position that may require working on multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
