Entry Level Glazier

In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various structures, including buildings, homes, and vehicles. You will use tools such as glass cutters and suction cups to measure, cut, and install glass panes of different sizes and shapes. Additionally, you may also need to repair or replace damaged frames or moldings. This position requires precise measurements and cutting skills, as well as the ability to work with a variety of materials such as tempered glass, Plexiglas, and mirrors.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark dimensions on glass panes using rulers or templates
- Cut glass to specified sizes using hand tools or machines
- Install glass panes into frames by applying glazing compounds or sealants
- Secure glass in place with putty or screws
- Replace damaged frames or moldings as needed
- Clean up work area and dispose of any broken or excess materials
- Adhere to safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational training program in glazing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cutting
- Familiarity with various types of glass and their uses (tempered, laminated, etc.)
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
- Biometric passport required for international travel

Salary: $1500/month
