Fitter - Contract Position in Vilnius


We are currently hiring a skilled Fitter to join our team on a contract basis in Vilnius. The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting and assembling mechanical components, as well as strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for reading technical drawings and specifications, performing measurements and calculations, and using various hand and power tools to assemble components accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine the required materials and measurements for each project
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accurate assembly of components
- Weld, grind, and fabricate metal parts as needed
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG/TIG) and metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform accurate measurements/calculations
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Valid work permit or citizenship in Vilnius
