Contract Executive Chef


We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team on a contract basis in Vilnius, Lithuania. As the Contract Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. You will also be responsible for managing a team of cooks and other kitchen staff, as well as maintaining inventory and budget control. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that are innovative, diverse, and tailored to our customers' preferences.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels and purchasing to control costs while maintaining high-quality ingredients.
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source unique ingredients.
- Stay current with industry trends and introduce new techniques or recipes as appropriate.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Creative mindset with the ability to create new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed.

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1700 per month.
