We are searching for a talented Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant located in the beautiful city of Vilnius, Lithuania. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional culinary experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus that showcase unique and creative dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high levels of food quality and service
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to set budget goals and control food costs
- Maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Implement new cooking techniques and recipes to continuously improve menu offerings
- Oversee kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of dishes
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss menu changes, updates, and feedback from guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine-dining restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Strong understanding of inventory management and cost control principles
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts preferred but not required
