Junior Information Security Analyst



As a Junior Information Security Analyst in our company, you will play a vital role in protecting our organization's sensitive information from cyber threats. Your main responsibility will be to assist the Information Security team in implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard our data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts on various systems, networks, and applications.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our security infrastructure.
- Assist in the implementation of security controls and processes to mitigate risks.
- Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely resolution to minimize impact.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify potential security risks in new projects or initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest information security trends, technologies, and threats.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience working in an information security role.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and other security tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
