Database Administrator


As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and performance of our company's databases in Sheduva. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month, suitable for experienced individuals with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures to support business needs
- Monitor and maintain database security, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery processes
- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving issues
- Troubleshoot any database-related problems that arise
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful integration of systems
- Stay updated on new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to current systems

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes
- Experience with database design principles and query optimization techniques
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl)
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
