Data-mining Analyst

We are in search of a talented Data-mining Analyst to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Data-mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends, and provide valuable insights to our company. Your role will involve using advanced software and techniques to extract information from various sources, such as databases, websites and social media platforms.

To excel in this position, you must have experience in data analysis and be familiar with statistical methods. You should also possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in data mining tools such as SQL, Python or R is required.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large sets of data from various sources
- Using data mining tools and software to extract useful information
- Analyzing data to identify patterns and trends
- Presenting findings through reports or visualizations
- Collaborating with other teams to understand business needs and provide insights for decision-making
- Ensuring accuracy of data by performing quality checks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data mining purposes
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis
- Experience with biometric passport data is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: 1100$ per month (part-time)
