Part-Time Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Part-Time Interpreter to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between two or more languages for various occasions such as meetings, conferences, and events.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and efficient interpretation services between two or more languages
- Interpret spoken communication in real-time with accuracy and reliability
- Translate written documents from one language to another when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted information at all times
- Research and become familiar with relevant terminology for each assignment
- Ensure that all cultural nuances are accurately conveyed during interpretation
- Manage time effectively to provide seamless interpretation services without interrupting the flow of conversation
- Collaborate with other interpreters if needed to ensure the highest level of accuracy in communication

Requirements:
- Fluent in at least two languages, including English and the language(s) required for interpretation (preferably Lithuanian)
- Excellent verbal communication skills in all languages used for interpretation
- Proficient in written translation between languages when necessary
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong research skills to familiarize oneself with relevant terminology for each assignment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary:
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. A salary of 900$ per month will be offered for this part-time position.
