Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Siauliai, Lithuania


As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and monitoring our network systems, troubleshooting network issues, and managing user accounts and permissions. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing and configuring new hardware and software, as well as performing routine backups and updates to ensure the security and stability of our systems.

To excel in this position, you should have a strong understanding of network protocols and topologies, as well as experience with server administration in both Linux and Windows environments. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is also highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills are a must, as you will be expected to quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise.

As part of our global team, you will work closely with colleagues from different departments and locations to provide efficient IT support. Therefore, excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. You should also be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network or systems administration
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), topologies (LAN/WAN), firewalls, and VPNs
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix server administration
- Familiarity with Windows Server operating system
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
$1100 per month
