Back-End Developer


We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side web application logic and integrating front-end components. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly features. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of back-end development technologies, data structures, and algorithms. An excellent eye for detail and problem-solving skills are also essential to excel in this role. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side web application logic
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores
- Ensure high performance of applications by implementing efficient algorithms
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as needed
- Write clean, concise, and well-documented code
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver quality solutions on time

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role (2+ years)
- Strong understanding of back-end development technologies such as Java, Python, PHP or Node.js
- Experience with relational database systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
$1600/month with accommodation provided.

Location:
Siauliai, Lithuania. Biometric passport is required.
