Florist Assistant


We are a busy florist shop located in Siauliai, seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Florist Assistant to join our team. As an assistant, you will work alongside our experienced florists to create beautiful arrangements and assist with customer orders.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and arranging floral designs for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Prepare flowers by stripping leaves, trimming stems, and conditioning them for use
- Help with maintaining the shop's inventory by restocking supplies and ordering new flowers when needed
- Greet customers and assist them with their floral needs while providing excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions for purchases and maintain accurate records of sales
- Keep the shop clean and organized at all times to create an inviting atmosphere for customers
- Assist with delivering floral arrangements to customers or event venues as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in a similar role or training in floristry is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of different types of flowers, their care, and how to create arrangements
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work with plant materials
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one is preferred due to international shipping requirements

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. Overtime may be required during busy periods.
