Head Chef
We are a renowned restaurant in Siauliai and we are in search of a talented Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and implementing new menus, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Create and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are served promptly
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when necessary
- Collaborate with management to create budget plans for food costs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen space
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and processes
- Creativity and passion for cooking with the ability to develop unique menu items
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
