Head Pastry Chef
The Head Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department in our high-end bakery in Siauliai. This individual will have a passion for creating unique and delicious pastries, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and train a team of pastry chefs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role, along with a culinary degree and knowledge of current baking trends and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain creative and innovative pastry menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for all pastry ingredients
- Train, mentor, and supervise the pastry team to ensure consistency in production and presentation
- Oversee the production of pastries for both retail sales and special orders
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry arts
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, flavor combinations, and current trends in the industry
- Ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate a team of pastry chefs
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for creating unique and delicious pastries
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1300 per month
