Network and Systems Administrator



We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's network infrastructure, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for all systems
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Conduct regular backups of data to ensure disaster recovery capabilities
- Develop and maintain documentation for network and system configurations
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvements to the network infrastructure

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
- Experience with firewall configuration and maintenance
- Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently

Salary: $1800 per month

Location: Utena, Lithuania

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome candidates of any nationality; however, you must have your own visa to work in Lithuania.
