Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our company's network and computer systems. Your duties will include setting up new networks, monitoring network performance and security, installing and updating software, and providing technical support to employees. You will also be in charge of managing user accounts, backups, and server maintenance. This is a contract job with a starting salary of 1400$ in the city of Utena. This position does not require prior experience but does require knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and hardware components. We offer free visa and ticket for non-local candidates. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, access controls, and other security measures
- Install and update operating systems as needed
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware or software issues
- Set up new user accounts and manage permissions
- Manage backups to ensure data is properly stored and easily recoverable in case of emergencies
- Perform routine maintenance on servers to optimize performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- Experience working with hardware components such as switches, routers, firewalls
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills to provide technical support to employees
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
