Junior Back-End Developer - Utena, Lithuania



We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Back-End Developer to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. This includes writing clean and efficient code, integrating data storage solutions, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure a seamless user experience. This is a contract position and accommodation will not be provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for non-Lithuanian candidates. No prior experience is required, but knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C# is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, well-designed code for server-side development
- Integrate data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between server-side and client-side code
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during development or testing phases
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in back-end development techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C#, etc.)
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries
- Understanding of web development principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
